Four Hundred Years ago , Quebec was discovered by Samuel Champlain. It's a UNESCO heritage city. This is significant because the city has to maintain its old 400 year old architecture.Quebec City celebrated a day called the Saint Jean Batisse Day. It is their independance day. Saint Jean Batisse day had a religious meaning when it was celebrated in Europe, but now it's their independance day. People have fun and enjoy their national holiday with parties, dances and concerts.
In Quebec City, there was trash everywhere. I witnessed volunteers, shop keepers , and sanitary engineers cleaning up. The most trashed I ever saw was in their parks. There was enough trash there to make a house. There's trash on every square foot of land. I saw 100 clean up crews, cleaning up. Some volunteers had helped out by picking up trash.
On the streets of Montreal and Quebec city are people persuading others to join their group in believing Obama's like Hitler. is trying to take over the world. Some Canadians just don't like Obama , but they can't make random assumtions about him taking over the world and being like Hitler.
At night in Montreal, there is a group of actors that act out famous people in Montreal and Quebec history. They act out as ghosts. They dress up in costumes and try to scare people and tell them a story about Montreal's history.
Montreal had hosted a world fair and a olympic. They used their old Bike race stadium for a Biodome. They redesigned it and now it's a house for monkeys, parrots, fish, bats, and penguins. The Biodome is in the shape of a Bicycle helmet. Next to the biodome is the world's tallest leaning tower.
